    About the Columbiahalle

The best concert location in Berlin

Built in 1951, the legendary Columbiahalle has quite the backstory and has been home to everyone and everything that was or is at the top of the music industry.

Bands like Slipknot, The Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man and Redman, Duran Duran, Bushido, Freundeskreis, Prinz Porno and more performed here and were hailed during their legendary performances in the 2000s.

The staff is very friendly including the security at the entrance. One can casually drink their drink while waiting for the concert and enjoying the view of Airport Tempelhof. Among the beer bottles and their collectors, cigarette butts, and the real fans its customary to drink enough to get onto a good level so you can fully embrace the legendary concert about to begin.

The public transport connections are great, after exiting the underground at "Platz der Luftbrücke" a small walkway leads up to the Columbiahalle. The nice thing about Columbiahalle is that despite the star acts, it does not feel staged or commercialized like other concert venues in Berlin.

At Columbiahalle everyone can experience their legendary concert if they were able to secure tickets in time. If not it is almost always possible to buy tickets in front of the entrance at differing prices.
